Ronald “R.J.” Burns

Ronald “R.J.” Burns, age 68, of Bluffton, SC died Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Mr. Burns was born on January 12, 1950 in Tonawanda, NY, the son of William and Marqurite Burns. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jeanne Burns; daughter, Melissa Howard (Jeremiah) of Bluffton, SC; sons, Robert Burns of Charleston, SC and Joseph Burns of San Diego, CA; sister, Cheryl DiRamio (John) of North Tonawanda, NY; sister-in-law, Carol Burns of Wheatfield, NY; grandchildren, Jacob Lee Howard, Miles Joseph Howard, Emma Jeanne Howard, and Jasmine Marie Howard; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, William “Buddy” Burns. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.
