Ronald Joseph Marshalek

Ronald Joseph Marshalek, age 79, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Massapequa, Long Island, NY died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. Mr. Marshalek was born on March 1, 1938 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Veronica Marshalek. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military tenure he attended Farmingdale University, earning a degree in accounting. He also attended CW Post University. Ronald worked for many years as a cost accountant. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Massapequa and was an avid golfer. Mr. Marshalek is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Virginia “Ginny” Marshalek; and his brothers, Jerome, Dennis, and Raymond Marshalek. He was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Marshalek. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.
