Ronnie Webster Farmer

Ronnie Webster Farmer, 58, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at his home. He was born on November 26, 1953 the son of Linda Watson Farmer and the late Alton T. Farmer.He was a Baptist and a member of Indian Hill Baptist Church. He was a Heating and Air Technician for A-1 Heating and Air. He was formerly with the Hilton Head Fire Department and served as acting Chief; he left to become the Chief of Fripp Island Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and anything to do with Seawater.He is survived by his wife, Debra Hendricks Farmer of Bluffton; his mother, Linda Watson Farmer of Bluffton; one daughter, Erin Lynn Farmer Peoples; 3 Step-Daughters, Jessica J. Mertel, of Bluffton, Stepenie D. Alegre of Jacksonville, NC, and Elizabeth G. Mertel of Parma, Ohio; 2 Brothers, Alton Herman Farmer (Linda) of Bluffton, SC and Donnie Farmer (Andrea) of Hilton Head Island, SC; Nephews Michael Shane Farmer of Bluffton, SC; nieces Lisa Farmer Stewart and Jennifer Farmer both of Columbia, SC; 8 grandchildren; 2 great nephews; and 1 great niece.
