Rose Mary Thompson

Rose Mary Thompson, 88 of Sun City passed Sunday, February 9th. With her were her husband of 70 plus years, Les Thompson and her 4 children; Les III of NJ, Linda Shaffer of CT, Maureen Coykendall of Illinois, and Deena Kriney of Hilton Head. In NYC, Rose Mary was her artist husband's studio manager. At Greenwich Hospital in CT, she served as pharmacy manager, and in Durham, NC, she was purchasing manager for MedVisit, a home healthcare business. Also surviving her are 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909 with a reception following at St. Andrew Hall, 220 Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton, SC 29909. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at the St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church columbarium, 45 Beach City Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. In place of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
