Rosemary Smith Way, 81 of Bluffton, SC passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 in her home. She was born on January 6, 1929 in Wolcott, NY. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Fannie Graves Smith.She was a violinist who graduated from the Julliard School of Music. She played with several well known symphony orchestras and toured with the Boston Pops. She attended Lowcountry Presbyterian Church and was a member of the local chapter of DAR. She is survived by her son, Scott (Jackie) Way of Rincon, GA; two daughters, Karen (Bryan) Snowdon-Way of Rocky Point, NC and Kristine (Jeff) Way Whelan; sister-in-law, Anne R. Smith; niece, Claudia Smith; grandchildren, Maia Lewis, Jonathan Way, Brittany Way, Chrystopher Way, Royce Whelan, Casey Scarborough, Meagan Kimble, and Ellen Whelan; and three great grandchildren, Jaylen White, Aaliyah White, and Ronan Scarborough.
