Roy E. Benjamin

Roy. E. Benjamin, 74 of Bluffton, SC died Friday, November 05, 2010 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC.Roy was born in Clinton, SC on April 17, 1936.He graduated from Clinton High School and Presbyterian College. Roy was Post Master in Clinton and retired in 1996 after 37 years of service. Roy served in the Army and transferred to the Army National Guard, serving 27 years and retired as a CW04. Roy was also active in the Kiwanis, as a member, president of the club, and Lieutenant Governor of the Carolinas Division. He was also very active in the Presbyterian churches he attended in both Clinton and Hilton Head, serving as a Deacon, an Elder, Sunday School Teacher and a Youth Advisor.
