Roy J. "Chip" Secrest

Roy J. Secrest (Chip), died peacefully on July 28, 2017 at his home after dealing with cancer for over 10 years.

Chip was born on October 8, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to Roy J. Secrest Jr. and Juliann Schilling Secrest. He lived in Delaware, Ohio and graduated from Delaware Hayes High School in 1981. He worked in automobile sales in Delaware and Hilton Head Island. He was an enthusiast of NASCAR and a steadfast fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Chip will be remembered for his quick wit and love of life. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Bonnie Jo Neace Secrest, three children, Brian (Mary Ann), Brittany, Kaylee, three grandsons, three brothers, Andy (Nancy), Rob (Leah), and Matt (Suzette).

A celebration of life will be held on August 20, 2017 from 2pm-5pm at Kelly's Tavern for friends and family. Chip would love to have you BYOB.

A second celebration of life will be held in Delaware, Ohio on September 23, 2017 at the Eagles from 2pm-5pm.
