Roy Haymans

Roy Haymans, 93, of Ridgeland, SC died Friday, January 16, 2015 in Aiken, SC. Mr. Haymans was born in Hinesville, GA on August 27, 1921, the son of the late Rufus Walter Haymans and Etta Gill Haymans. He worked as a driver for Lane Trucking Company for many years. He was a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church. He enjoyed walking for exercise, he loved to work in his garden, and he loved his grandchildren. Mr. Haymans was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nell T. Haymans; sons, Ray Haymans and Mike Haymans; and brothers, Freddie Haymans, Alonza Haymans, and Curtis Haymans. He is survived by his son, Miles Haymans (Wanda) of Aiken, SC; daughter-in-law, Debbie Haymans of Ridgeland, SC; grandchildren, Charity Cleland, Amy Graven, Shannan Haymans, and Jennifer Watkins; and great-grandchildren, Bethany, Laura, Andrew, Savanna, Sharon, Sierra, and Harley. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W.
