Roy E. Kaiser, Jr.

Roy E. Kaiser, Jr. 78, of Bluffton, SC passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Roy was born March 27, 1948 to Roy E. Kaiser, Sr. and Sarah A. Connolly in Pittsburgh, PA. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and later worked for the University of Pittsburgh as a Facilities Manager for 38 years. He was very active in the Moose Lodge and coached softball for 20 years. Roy also found great joy in mentoring young people through his work as a Boy Scouts leader and with the Pennsylvania Youth Awareness Program. He enjoyed working with children and helping guide the next generation.

Roy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia A. McElligott Kaiser; daughters, April Cole (Chris, deceased), Aimee Justus (Brian), and Mary Kaiser; brothers, Dennis Kaiser (Tina) and Thomas Kaiser (Barb); sister-in-law, Miriam Kaiser; and grandchildren, Morgan, Gabriel, Sydney, Austin (Krissy), and Hailey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry, and his grandson, Aaron.

A celebration of life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 204 Cotton Field Lane West Bluffton, SC 29910 from 3-5 pm.

A memorial mass will be held on June 26, 2026, at St. Maurice Catholic Church, 2001 Ardmore Blvd. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15221, beginning at 10:00 am. A visitation will be held on June 26, 2026, at Thomas L. Neid Funeral Home, 7441 Washington St., Swissvale, PA 15218, from 2-8 pm.
