Ruth Russo Kersteen

Ruth Russo Kersteen, peacefully passed away on April 5, 2022 in Bluffton, SC. at the age of 93. She was born March 8, 1929 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved wife of Harold C. Kersteen for 68 years. She was a resident of Swarthmore, Pa, Winter Park, Fla and finally the Palmettos of Blufton, SC.

Ruth was the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy  Russo and is survived by her husband Harold and sons Hal and Doug, grandsons Mark and Taylor Kersteen and DJ Piper and her sister Mary Ermel of Forty Fort, Pa.

Ruth is predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Dorothy and brothers Donald, Larry and Ronald Russo.

Ruth was a wonderful wife and mother and she touched everybody’s heart. We will miss her so much. The family is having private services later this month.
