Ruth A. Leary

RUTH A. LEARY, devoted wife and mother, has died at the age of 90.  Ruth was born in New York, raised her family in New Jersey and spent the last twenty five years in Bluffton, South Carolina.  She enjoyed reading James Patterson books, playing bocce and was an avid exerciser at the Sun City fitness center.  She was also an enthusiastic Duke basketball, New York Yankees baseball fan and Notre Dame football fan.

Ruth is survived by her three daughters Nancy Leary, Mary Stringer, Anne Dolan, son-in-laws William Stringer and Timothy Dolan and six grandchildren Ryan, Cassidy, Riley, Quinn, Samantha and Garrett.  She is predeceased by her husband Raymond R.Leary.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 28, 2023 at Beaufort National Cemetery where Ruth will join her husband, Raymond R. Leary.
