Ruth Raymond Young

Ruth Raymond Young, 87 of Hardeeville, SC and widow of Hugh B. Young passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011 in National Health Care Center, Okatie, SC.She was born in Hardeeville, SC on October 4, 1924. She was the daughter of the late John Peter Raymond and May Louise McDonnall Raymond.She was a graduate of Candler School of Nursing. She was a life long member of the Hardeeville United Methodist Church. She retired from Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA in 1984.She is survived by her son, Hugh B. (Jill) Young, Jr. of Hardeeville, SC; three daughters, Patricia Y. (George) Stephens of Hardeeville, Clara (Larry) McCallie of Winston-Salem, NC and Mary Busby of Coosawatchie, SC; one brother, Herbert E. Raymond of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Louise (Homer) Mears of Holly Hill, SC and Margaret Cox of Hardeeville; four grandsons, Jason B. Stephens, Thomas McCallie, Ryne A. Busby and Benjamin D. Busby; two great grands, Tylor Beam Stephens and Breanna Stephens.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Hardeeville United Methodist Church with burial in the Purrysburg Cemetery, Hardeeville. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8, Monday, November 14, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W.
