Salvatore Anthony Arzillo went to be with our Heavenly Father on April 1, 2022. He was born May 16, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in North Massapequa, NY until he graduated high school and volunteered in the United States Army. Strongly and bravely he was a Vietnam veteran. He served as a crew chief/door gunner. This is where he met his first wife, Carolyn and became a father to his four children. Sal and Carolyn settled in Hardeeville, South Carolina. He fell in love with the city and opened his first business, Star Garage . This created a start to one of many contributions to several businesses and interests that helped build Hardeeville. He was a member of several Societies to include the Masons and Lions Club. He was the chairman of the Hardeeville Chamber of Commerce and was the baseball coach for the Hardeeville little league sponsored by Star Garage. He served as a Hardeeville City Councilman as well . He loved his family just as much as they loved him. Everyone who knew him knew he was larger than life. He commanded everyone’s attention with his New York accent and a contagious laugh.
