Brother Samuel King was born on August 2, 1925 to the late Deacon Frank King and Rhina Wright-King. He was educated through the Jasper County School System. At a very young age, he relocated to Gainsville, FL where he worked as a Construction Worker; shortly thereafter, he moved to Umatilla FL where he worked as a Migrant Worker for the Golden Gem Co. from 1954 until his retirement in the late 1990
