Samuel J. Najarian

Samuel J. Najarian, 87, of Sun City, Bluffton, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at his home.Sam was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 21, 1925. He was the son of Michael and Zabel Najarian who migrated to the United States in 1921. Sam spent all of his early years living in various sections of Brooklyn. As a youth he loved and participated in many sports year-round. He attended Good Shepherd Parochial School and Brooklyn Technical High School.During WWII and immediately upon graduating from high school, Sam enlisted in the Army Air Corps. He was assigned to the European theatre of operations, where he flew combat bombing missions over Germany.Upon discharge from the Air Force at wars
