Samuel Eugene Rivers

Mr. Samuel Eugene Rivers, 63, of Hampton SC, died May 22, 2026, in Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Samuel was born in Hampton County, October 12, 1962, a son of the late George Herman Rivers, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Moseley Rivers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time with his family.

Samuel is survived by his partner: Rania Padgett of Hampton; Daughters: Shannon Rivers Odom of Blackville and Sadie Rivers of Hampton; Son: Liam Rivers of Hampton; Brother: Don Louis Rivers (Estelle) of Brunson; Sister: Dorothy E. Blevins (Shane) of Hampton; Grandchildren: Nicholas Mock and Karen Rivers. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Samuel was preceded in death by brothers: Matthew Rivers, Mark Rivers, and George Herman Rivers, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
