Sandra Ann “Sandi” Matthews

Sandra Ann “Sandi” Matthews, age 69, of Sun City, SC and formerly of Arnold, MD, died Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Bayview Manor in Beaufort, SC. Mrs. Matthews was born on July 12, 1947 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of the late Eleanor and Frank Kulick. She was a graduate of Wilkes University, earning a degree in German. She worked for many years as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher in Arnold and Annapolis, MD. While living at Sun City she was active with the Greeting Card Club, enjoyed playing bocce, and volunteered at the local thrift shop. Mrs. Matthews is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Mark Matthews; daughters, Amy Matthews and Susan Matthews (Catherine McKenzie); and brother, Frank Kulick (Marian). A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. Andrew Chapel, 220 Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton, SC 29909.
