Sandra Kay Stronach

Sandra Kay Stronach, 64, of Beaufort, SC passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Pruitt Health Care of Walterboro.

Mrs. Stronach was born June 10, 1952 in Springfield, IL to the late Walter Matheis and Charlotte Adams Matheis. She was a bookkeeper for Berry’s Tax Service, attended Carterette Street Methodist Church in Beaufort, and enjoyed crocheting. She was a loving mother and enjoyed lending a helping hand.

Mrs. Stronach is survived by her sons, Isaac Evans (Sherrin) of Seabrook, SC, Thom Whittemore (Tim) of Portland, OR; daughter, Frances Goethe (Rex, II) of Kershaw, SC; brothers, James Matheis (Wilinda) of Springfield, IL and Tom Matheis of Mt. Pleasant, IA; sister, Sharon Bates (Jack) of Mt. Pleasant, IA; sister-in-law, Brenda Matheis; and three grandchildren, Christina Stevens, Samantha Goethe, and Rex Goethe, III. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Stronach and brother, Bill Matheis.
