Scotti Hargrove, a dedicated service member, compassionate field doctor, and devoted mother, passed away November 16th, 2024 at 1:28am. She was 36 years old.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Scotti served for six years, where she earned numerous accolades for her exceptional service. She was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Award, Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Award, Navy/Marine Corps Meritorious Unit Commendation Award, and the Good Conduct Medal, along with 10 certifications of commendation. Scotti's commitment to excellence was further recognized by three Blue Jacket of the Quarter awards, a Fleet Marine Force Expeditionary Pin, and a Joint Meritorious Unit Award. She was also honored with a Humanitarian Award and an Outstanding Voluntary Service Award, alongside 25 Letters of Appreciation, which underscored her selflessness and dedication.
In her military career, Scotti’s leadership was transformative, mentoring over 100 Sailors and training more than 500 in areas ranging from customer service to patient care. She was also skilled in phlebotomy and worked with the American Red Cross, drawing blood and providing essential care.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Adilynn Grace Hensen; mother, Dawn Campbell; father, Chris Campbell; sister, Shawna Campbell; brother, Tyler Campbell; her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Donna Wojick; paternal grandmother, Linda Cloran; and her numerous aunts and uncles.
Scotti’s life was defined by her compassion, dedication to service, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, SC on Saturday November, 23rd, 2024 from 11am-1pm.
