Sharon Ackerman, 75, of Levy, SC peacefully passed away in her home October 30, 2017.

Sharon was born March 26, 1942 in Harvey, IL. She was a loving and proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had the biggest heart for animals and her compassion for them was limitless. Her beautiful smile, positive outlook, and infectious laugh will always be remembered.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Cawvey. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ackerman; her daughter, Jodi Ceriale (Phillip); sons, Scott Hoskins (Penny), Micheal Gee (Kelly), Keith Ackerman (Denise); 8 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and many, many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.
