Sharon Lorraine Murphy Smith, "The Cheesecake Lady", 70, died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. She was born December 17, 1937 in Detroit MI. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lorraine Seymour Murphy. She was a homemaker and baked the best cheesecake in Bluffton. She was a member of the Bridge Club. She was a friend to all.She is survived by her husband, Richard I. Smith of Bluffton, SC.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lara Kortney Smith.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
