Sherwin Howard Rubin

Sherwin Howard Rubin, 80 of Bluffton, SC passed away on March 15, 2017 at the Memorial Medical Center, Savannah, GA. Mr. Rubin was born on October 19, 1936 in New Haven, CT to the late Harry Rubin and Eva Peretzman Rubin. He was a Pharmacist and co-owner of Farbers Pharmacy in Hamden, CT and graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. He and his wife moved to Hilton Head/ Bluffton area in 1992. He was a member of Oseh Shalom Temple of Bluffton; enjoyed reading; playing bridge; friend to all and loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rhoda Rubin of Bluffton; two sons, Harvey Rubin (Sophie) of Stamford, CT and Marc Rubin (Susan) of Monroe, CT; his brother, Jerry Rubin of Arizona; niece, Lori Jastremski; grandchildren, Adam, Thibaud and Emma Rubin, Matthew Parkhurst and Dara Rubin. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
