Shirley M. Abolafia

Shirley M. Abolafia, 96, of Okatie, SC passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Caroline’s Cottage Hospice House.

Shirley was born January 30, 1927 in Bronx, NY to the late Abraham and Gertrude Kaplan. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Canasta and Mahjong.

Shirley is survived by her son, Allan Abolafia (Susan) of Bluffton, SC; grandsons, Daniel Abolafia (Margaret) of Breinigsville, PA, Aaron Abolafia of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Michael Abolafia (Amy) of Narberth, PA; and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Paige, and Zack. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Abolafia and her son, Jerry Abolafia.

Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements.
