Shirley Ann Deely

Shirley Ann DeelyBluffton, SCShirley Ann Deely passed away on September 15, 2007 at the Hilton Head Regional Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC due to a massive stroke.She was born to Enzie and Bascom Woliver in Lee County, Virginia on October 3, 1935. She relocated to Washington, DC and worked for the Navy Department, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Department of Interior. It was while working for the Navy Department that she met her husband of nearly 47 years, Michael F. Deely. Together, they have three children, all of who survive; Donna Marie Deely of Alexandria, VA, Kathleen Devaney of Beach Haven, NJ and Anthony E. Deely and his wife, Catherine also of Beach Haven, NJ. Shirley also has four grandchildren, the loves of her life. They are Connor Devaney; Caden, Cuinn and Cuade Deely all of Beach Haven, NJ. She was predeceased by her brother, James Collingsworth of Kingsport, TN. Amy Jo Lyons, an unbelievably close friend to the family, survives as well.Services are private and will be held in Arlington, VA and Beach Haven, NJ.
