Shirley Jean Phillips

It is with great sadness that the Family of Shirley Jean Phillips announce her passing away on her brother’s (Jack) birthday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 82.

She was predeceased by her parents John Thomas and Ethel, a brother Jack A Phillips and sister Donna L Noll, both of Hilton Head Island, SC.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, Dawn Fay of Barnegat, Deborah Bucci of Manasquan, Holly Phillips of Bluffton, Robyn Sparks of Charleston, Nicole Phillips, Jaclyn Phillips and Toni L Phillips all of Bluffton, SC.  and numerous great nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Shirley was born in Plainfield, NJ and raised Catholic and loved animals.  If you knew Shirley you know she was a one-of-a-kind person and would tell you like it is.  Shirley will always be remembered for lending a hand and helping anyone who needed it.

Shirley was a resident of Life Care Center of Hilton Head for the last 2 years; as her health was failing. The family wishes to send a special Thank you to the staff at Life Care Center for their care and compassion of Ms. Shirley.

A memorial service will be held at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton SC on Tuesday Oct. 5 ^th at 4:00 pm.
