Shirley Ann Smith Chapman

Ann Smith Chapman, 73, of Bluffton, SC and widow of William Durell Chapman, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC.She was born in Savannah, GA on March 3, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Southwood Sidney and Eva Pauline Melton Smith.She was a member of the Bluffton Methodist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Jean (Rex) Goethe and Dianne Heath all of Bluffton, SC; one brother, Nelson (Ann) Smith of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Rex (Francis) Goethe II, Lance Goethe, Christy (Stephen) Doyle, Keri (Bart) Hammond and Becky Heath; and great grandchildren, Carson Heath, Hayden Doyle and Samantha Goethe.Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Bluffton Cemetery, Bluffton, SC.The family requests memorial donations be made to The Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
