Sonya R. Sexton

Sonya R. Sexton, 48, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at her home in Ridgeland, SC from an unexpected illness.

She was born on September 14, 1967 at Telfair Hospital in Savannah, Georgia to the late Joyce Ann Meadows and the late Frankie Gibbs.

She was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons; James Thomas Adams (Amy) of Varnville, SC and John Franklin Adams (Julie) of Ridgeland, SC; grandchildren, Gracie Smith, John Skyler Adams, Austin James Adams; her longtime friend, Terry Guinn; her grandmother, Rubina S. Duncan of Ridgeland, SC; aunts and uncles, Linda Smith (James)of Woodbine, Georgia; Jackie Bozard (Kevin) of Ridgeland, Arthur P. Boudrieau, Jr. (Pat) of Ridgeland, Christine Roof (Steve) of Hardeeville; and cousins Kayce Bozard, Michael Boudrieau, Alleigh Miles, and Kaydee Miles.

A memorial service will be held at Tillman Baptist Church in Tillman, SC, on December 26, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
