Stanley Edward Lange

Stanley Edward Lange, age 82 of Bluffton, SC and formerly of York, ME and Wantagh, NY died Friday, August 08, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Lange was born in Hampstead, NY on October 27, 1931, the son of the late Edward Lange and Rose Lauper Lange. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a building contractor for many years. Mr. Lange is survived by his companion of 33 years Gladys Kenny, daughters Meredith Lange, Tracy Dias and family, Susan Cusack and family, Anne Sturtevant and family, and a son, Stephen Read; brother, Edward Lange and family; sister, Kathy Gallagher. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 1179, Ridgeland, SC 29936. Funeral services will be private.
