Star Hollifield, 50, of Hardeeville, SC died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her home. Star was born in Marion, NC on January 4, 1965. She was co-owner of Padgett Specialty. She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Helton. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Troy Lee Padgett; daughters, Miranda Leigh Grant and Alice Danielle Starling Padgett; mother, Shirley Page; father, Starling Hollifield (Janie); brother, Brett; sisters, Dana Lee Page, Susan Carver Smith, and Audra Wallace; granddaughters, Samantha Leigh Grant and Sabrina Ruth Grant. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Turkey Cove Baptist Church in Marion, NC.
