Dr. Stephen A. Miller

Dr. Stephen A. Miller, 81 of Bluffton and husband of Judith Robbins Miller, passed away on May 27, 2017 at the Hilton Head Hospital. Dr. Miller was born in Boston, MA on May 14, 1936 to the late Carl Miller and Symma Pansky Miller. Dr. Miller was a 1958 graduate of Harvard; 1962 graduate of Harvard Dental School and received his Periodontist degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Miller practiced in Nashua, NH for 35 years retiring at 71 and continued to practice part time in Keene, NH. He was a member of the American Academy of Periodontics; a Rotarian; volunteer Dentist at Hilton Head Volunteers in Medicine for seven years after moving to Bluffton; member Oseh Shalom; enjoyed golf, tennis, bridge, going to the Beach and watching movies. In addition to his wife, Dr. Miller is survived by his son, Scott Andrew Miller of Syracuse, NY; his daughter, Heidi Hamel (David) of Norfolk, MA; his sister, Eleanor Koplovsky (William) of Hingham, MA and grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Lauren, Robert and Jason Hehn. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. Memorial services will begin at 2:00 pm.
