Steven Owen Stone

Steven Owen Stone, 56, of Bluffton passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2020. Steven was born June 18, 1963 in Darby, PA. He was the son of the late Robert Stone of Strasburg, PA and surviving mother, Claire Stone of Elizabethtown, PA. Steven was raised in PA and a resident of SC since 1987.

Steven was a veteran of the US Army. He was a carpenter by trade and was a devoted NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Steven is survived by his son, Zachery Stone of Bellingham, WA; three sisters, Cindy Shea-Stone of Bluffton, SC, Sandy Drawbaugh of York, PA and Melissa Screven (Ronald) of Bluffton, SC; three brothers, Rob Stone (Kris) of Lancaster, PA, Stacy Stone (Missy) of Elizabethtown, PA, and Mark Stone of Mt. Joy, PA. Steven is also survived by two nieces, seven nephews, two great-nieces and two great-nephews.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 am with military honors. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of the service. Burial will take place 11:00 am, Monday, March 2, 2020 at Beaufort National Cemetery.
