Susan Abigail Cheatham

Susan Abigail Cheatham, 58, of Bluffton, SC passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at her home.

Susan was born December 8, 1963 in Charleston, SC to Roland “Pete” Smith, III and Hilda Waters Smith. As an Episcopalian, Susan’s faith in God was strong. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was truly a dedicated mother as her biggest love was her children.

In addition to her parents, Susan is survived by her sons, Christopher Allen Broome and John Keenan Broome, both of Bluffton; daughter, Amy Elizabeth Kearse of Bluffton; and two grandchildren, Zoey Annette Kearse and Jaxon Clarence Crapse.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bluffton Cemetery.
