Susan Ann Garrity

Susan Ann Garrity, 65, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her home.She was born on March 3, 1947 in Oshgosh, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Frederick Hassett.She enjoyed world travel. She was a very stylish lady, loved the Summer home in Fish Creek, WI. She attended school in Italy where she enjoyed traveling to later in life. She enjoyed the arts. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukie, WI and was a graduate Magnum Cum Lauda at the University of Miami. She also attended the University of Florence in Italy studying interior design, and spoke fluent Italian.She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Michael Garrity of Bluffton, SC; daughter Ashley Kraemer; step daughters, Jennifer (Robert) Grinko and step son, Timothy (Colleen) Garrity; brothers Robert (Ronnie) Hassett, Jeff Hassett, Mark Hassett, Tim (Susan) Hassett; sisters Kathy Henley and Cindy (Michael) Sinclair; 4 step grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrews Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton at 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
