Suzanne Pearce May

Suzanne Pearce May, 65 of Seabrook, SC, widow of William Joseph Langford, Jr. (JoJo) passed away on May 10, 2017 at Bayview Manor, Beaufort, SC, after a long struggle with dementia. Suzanne was born in Santa Ana, California on May 1, 1952 to the late James T. Pearce and Jeannette Stone Pearce. She was a member of Community Bible Church in Beaufort, where she sang in the choir and served in the Nursery. In her youth she was an accomplished equestrian. She was artistic, loved horses, cooking and caring for her grandchildren, and she was a mother to many of her children’s friends. Suzanne is survived by her sons, Gregory Landol Fletcher(Kelsey Hunt) of Beaufort, SC, Zachary Pearce May (Siarra) of Waterville, Maine and her daughter, Misty L. Shipley (Sean) of Seabrook, SC; her sisters, Bonnie Lawton (Gary) of Oreville, CA, Ricki Goshorn (Bobby) of Hilton Head Island, SC, Karen Hall (Joe) of Greencove Springs, FL, Jeannette Smith (Wayne) of Seabrook, SC and Stephanie Snyder (Jeff) of Beaufort, SC; six grandchildren, Jessica Shipley, Jenna Shipley, Justin Shipley, Joshua Shipley, Malachi May, and Jonathan Smith(Dana) of Walterboro. The family will receive friends at 11 am, Saturday, May 13, 2017 The Langford House, 67 Gillison Branch Road, Garnett, SC 29922. Funeral services will begin at Noon on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Robertville Baptist Church, 26 Robertville Dr., Garnett, SC 29922 with burial in the church cemetery.
