Suzanne Mary Venn

Suzanne Mary Venn, age 72, of Bluffton, SC passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Queens, NY on December 15, 1944 to the late Raymond and Margaret Silo. Suzanne grew up in Clearwater Beach, FL graduating from Clearwater High in 1963. Her and Tom raised their family in the Orlando, FL area retiring to the Bluffton, SC. Suzanne was a sweet, gentle soul, who gave her heart fully in everything she did. She was a dedicated employee in the insurance industry for over 30 years. But it was her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother which she treasured most. She was known as an outstanding cook, that is when not basking in the sun. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Henry Venn; her two daughters, Debbie Graul (John) of Clyde, NC and Sandra Densmore (Doug) of Milton, GA; her two grandchildren, Mallory and Carson Densmore; two sisters, Patricia Daily (Gary) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Marilyn Smith of Summerville, FL; one brother-in law, Richard Venn (Joan) of Oak Park, CA; and one sister-in-law, Joanne Venn of Lancaster, SC. She was preceded in death by three bother-in-laws, David Venn, William Venn, and Jay Smith. A visitation will be held starting at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC. A service led by Rev. Joey McDonald, of Bluffton United Methodist Church, will start at 6 p.m. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Suzanne's life at The Crescent Point Country Club following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) or a charity of your choice.
