Sydney William Guffey, 64, of Bluffton, SC died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at his home. He was born on January 6, 1948 in Cambridge, Massachusetts the son of the late Joseph Walter and Mildred Sherman Guffey.What a difference a good man can make. From his high school band, the Semanon (No Names spelled backwards), to his lifelong connection to friends Ricky & Doug, to unlimited computer expertise, Syd was understated and uncomplicated.
