Terence Dunn Weaver, 79, died Friday, August 30, 2013 in Hilton Head, SC.
Terry was born in Jamestown, NY on May 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Frederick N. Dunn and Annette Atkins Dunn. She was a longtime resident of Hilton Head Island, moving to South Carolina from Maryland. She was a faithful member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry. She was a founding member of the Women in Black, a member of the Peace Group of Hilton Head, Planned Parenthood, and the League of Women Voters.
She is survived by her son, Jim Weaver of Gulfport, FL; daughters, Nancy Weaver of Gulfport, FL, Anne Vieths and husband David of Minnesota, and Polly Kuziel and husband, Jonny of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Fred Dunn of Tennessee; sisters, Toni Johnson of Charleston, SC, Frederica Dunn of Virginia, and Prudy Dunn of Annapolis, MD; beloved grandchildren, Natalie Vieths of Minnesota and Corey Hayes of Hilton Head, SC.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry, 110 Malphrus Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.
