Thelma Wood Connell Scaduto

Thelma Wood Connell Scaduto, age 90, of Ridgeland, SC died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Ridgeland Nursing Center. Mrs. Scaduto was born on November 13, 1927 in Valdosta, GA, the daughter of the late Columbus and Sarah Penny Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Scaduto. She is survived by her children, Gail Nichols, Wanda Connell Wetherington, Larry Connell (Judy), and Gwendolyn Screne; eleven grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Running W. Retreat Center in Pritchardville, SC. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Tidewater Hospice or to the Ridgeland Nursing Center.
