Theodore "Ted" Gilbert Hayes

Theodore Gilbert Hayes “Ted” (66) passed away peacefully at home in Hardeeville, S.C on January 18, 2025. Born on May 15, 1958 in Dillon, S.C In his early years, Ted enjoyed playing sports, then later being a coach for football and baseball in Hardeeville, SC. He was also a part of the Booster Club for kids of Hardeeville. Ted was admired in his professional life as well, spending his career as a tile business owner, showing people his talent and built his reputation for over 30 years. Surviving Ted are his beloved brother Richard "Dick" Hayes (Tracie) and Ted’s children, daughter April Allen and Sons Joseph Hayes (Klarissa) & Juston Hayes (Jennifer). Ted’s loving 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded by his wife Debra J. Hayes of Hardeeville SC and by his parents Gilbert Hayes & Hazel Scott Hayes of Florence SC. To honor Ted’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are to be held. Remember him with a smile and the good times shared with him. We miss you and love you so much!
