Theodore A. Koenig, Jr.

Theodore Alan Koenig, 80, of SunCity, Bluffton, SC: formerly of Springfield, Illinois passed away on 2/19/2024 at Memorial, Savannah Hospital. Theodore is survived by son Audie Koenig (Christine) of Washingtonville, NY, daughter Kat Kaponer (Rich) of Bluffton, SC, and 2 granddaughters Jacquelyn and Emily Koenig. A memory mass is scheduled for 2-22-2024 at 10:30 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton and a wake on 2/21/2024 from 4 pm until 6 pm at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton.

Ted went to St. Joseph College in Indiana. Ted and his wife Andrea moved to Pearl River, NY to pursue the American dream. Ted was a true salesman at heart, he loved to negotiate, he was old school and continued to write everything down, he collected every business card out there. He is a road warrior when it comes to sales. He owned a business in Hartford, Connecticut for years where they sold Direct Marketing or the dirty word we do not speak (JUNK MAIL)

Ted was a huge Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, he was to some the energizer rabbit. He was part of the SunCity startup in 2004 and contributed to his community, he was a social butterfly. He was an active devoted Catholic worshiper and enjoyed helping the community through his membership with the Knights of Columbus. Ted loved his family and will always will be missed.
