Thomas Allen Amerson

Thomas Allen Amerson, 57, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hosipital in Savannah, GA. He was born in Sumter, SC on August 2, 1954 to the late Tommy Timmons and Oleata Cox Timmons.He was retired from International Paper Company and enjoyed Race Cars and racing Go-Karts at Pineora Kartway.He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Ann Davis Amerson of Richmond Hill, GA; one son, Cecil S. (Erin) Amerson of Pembroke, GA; daughters, Mindy Fairbanks of Richmond Hill, GA; Crystal (Troy) Clark also of Richmond Hill, GA; two brothers, Billy Ray Harrelson and Terry (Laura) Timmons of Hardeeville, SC; grandchildren, Cole Amerson, Bryce Fairbanks, Grace Amerson, Ragan Kurk, Emily Amerson, Taylor Clark, Toby Amerson, Ella Amerson and Braxton Clark.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Red Dam Baptist Church in Hardeeville, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church.
