Thomas J. Bobrowski, 82, of Bluffton, SC died Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
Mr. Bobrowski was born on November 17, 1931 in Conshohocken, PA, the son of the late Joseph Bobrowski and Sophia Sadowski Bobrowski. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 after 28 years of dedicated service. After retirement, he worked for Publix for 20 years. He loved to travel, tell a good joke, play tennis, and cook. He was known for his salads and spaghetti sauce. He was of Catholic faith.
Mr. Bobrowski was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard, Joseph, and Sylvester Bobrowski and his sisters, Elizabeth Stutz and Martha Pelczar. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Bobrowski; son, Thomas Steven Bobrowski (Leslie) of Cumberland, RI; daughters, Diane Borella (Stan) of Murfreesboro, TN and Suzanne Brown (Eric) of Charleston, SC; sister, Mary Wisniewski of PA; grandchildren, Sean Brown (Deborah), James Borella (Dalla), Andrea Merten (Michael), Laura Borella, Katelyn Bobrowski, Garrett Brown, Sarah Brown, Sophia Bobrowski, and Elijah Bobrowski; great-grandchildren, Austin Brown, Mason Brown, Kelly Infinger, Cameron Infinger, Jacob Shahan, Gemma Lopez, Zachery Brown, and Adeline Merten; and several nieces and nephews.
