Thomas Sherwood Cooler earned his wings and went to live with our Lord on July 16, 2021 after a short illness.
Tommy was the son of VarnNeice Harper Cooler Rollins and the late Willie Cooler of Hardeeville. Preceded in death by his two brothers, Willie Daniel Cooler, James Michael Cooler and step father, James Rollins.
Survived by his sister, Debra Cooler Williams of Beaufort; sons, Jeffrey Keatts (Ashley), Thomas Cooler Jr. (Sterling), Alexander Cooler (Candise); and daughter, Tiffany Cooler; six grandchildren, Colton, Garrett, Shiloh, Kye, Ryland and Alyssa; two nieces, Tracey Abercrombie (John), Jennifer Bick (Jason) and one nephew, Alan Williams; three great nephews, Joshua, Jacob, Brandon; and four great nieces, Jordan, Jentry, Brynlee and Braelyn.
Tommy was a long haul truck driver and auto mechanic for years and was employed by Clover Glass for a time.
He was an avid NASCAR race fan, pulling for Jeff Gordon, #24, until his retirement and then pulled for Chase Elliott, #9. He was a member of Maye River Baptist Church and had many friends!
Rest in Peace, Tommy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Maye River Baptist Church, Bluffton with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
