Thomas 'Tom' Dain Gary

It is with great sadness I inform you of the death of my brother, Thomas D Gary on May 14, 2018. Tom, Tommy, Big Tom was a big brother, fine friend & “go to guy”, for family and friends & he will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. Born in Washington DC but resident of Colorado, Florida, Texas, California and ultimately South Carolina, Tom’s love of travel was instilled early and gave him the ability to make friends wherever he went. His willingness to pitch in and use his immense strength to help others cannot be fully explained ...nor easily forgotten. It was Tom-of course he could! Tom lived through trials that would have devastated us mere mortals, yet he refused to complain and simply kept going. His ability to persevere through devastating injury was a lesson to us all. I can only hope you, Tom’s friends and family, can take solace in knowing he passed doing exactly what he loved most-working out those fine muscles and incredible physique that were his until the very end.
