Thomas James Murphy

Thomas James Murphy, 84, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.He was born in New York on October 24, 1926. He was the son of the late Thomas and Nellie Hallas Murphy.He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.He is survived by his daughter Carol Ann Bradley and son in law, Ronald Bradley of Bluffton, SC; three grandchildren, Alison Willmett, Michael Bradley and Eric Bradley; five great grandchildren, Charles, Grace, Teagan, Chase and Abigail. He was predeceased by his brother, John Murphy and sister, Mary Murphy.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 15, 2011. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton from 5 til 7, Friday, January 14, 2011. A Wake Service will be held at 6:30 pm.The family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
