Thomas W. Myers

Thomas W. Myers of Bluffton, SC, died on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Coastal Carolina Hospital.

Born in Blue Earth, MN, on November 5, 1941, he served as administrator for Prairie View Elementary in Eden Prairie, MN, for 32 years. Tom dearly loved his family and his profession, was passionate about education, truly believed we should make decisions based on what is helpful to others, and enjoyed making a connection with everyone he met. He was always eager to travel, found it adventurous to make our four moves in retirement, never stopped cheering for the Vikings, and wanted to golf far more than he did.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dianne Myers, his son John (and Beth) Myers, his daughter, Kristin (and Ron) Pullar and five grandchildren--Violet, Brady and Lily Rose Myers, McKenzie and Kaden Pullar. He was preceded in death by his parents Al and Mabel Myers, his sisters--Lillian, Audrey, and Phyllis, and his brothers--Alger, Arvis, Alloys, and Duane.

Memorial services will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 351 Buckwalter Parkway, Bluffton, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16.
