Thomas Paige

Thomas Paige – loving and devoted husband and father and proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps – taken from us way too soon – died unexpectedly on August 16, 2021 at his home.

Tom was born on April 15, 1965 in Batavia, New York to Joseph and Rosemary Paige.  He had a zest for life and a sense of humor that not everyone understood.  He was a perfectionist that most people took for being a hard-ass, but he knew what he wanted and he wanted it done right!  He loved his family and they meant everything to him.  He was extremely protective and would do anything to keep them safe and happy.

Tom loved woodworking and crafting things out of nothing.  He took so much pride in all the projects he created with his own hands; making Grandma Battaglia’s Italian Sausage for all to enjoy; fishing, cooking and his newest love, his Slingshot.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Karen, sons Matthew and Kevin and daughter, Alexa.  He also leaves behind his mother, Rosemary, brothers Joseph (Cathy) and Brian (Heidi Marie) and sister Paula, brother-in-law John (Elizabeth) Tischler and sister-in-law Rose (Charles) Benoit, several nieces and nephews and friends.  He also leaves behind his beloved Bull Terrier – Stella.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church, 45 Beach City Road, Hilton Head Island, SC and military burial at the Beaufort National Cemetery following at 1:00 p.m.
