Thomas "Tommy" Martin Simmons, Jr.

Thomas “Tommy” Martin Simmons Jr., 60, passed away on November 7, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1965. Tommy spent most of his life working as a boat and diesel mechanic and was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and dedication to his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Martin Simmons Sr.; his son, John Thomas “Buck” Simmons; and his brother, Kevin Lee Simmons. 

Tommy is survived by his wife, Tammi Padgett Simmons; his mother, Rita Ann Simmons White; his sister, Jesselyn Lane Simmons (Jacob Frank Sr.); his nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn Simmons, Jacob Frank Jr., and Sadie Frank; and his granddaughter, Norah Simmons. 

Tommy will be remembered for his strength, hard work, and the love he had for those closest to him. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
