Timothy Mixson

Timothy Mixson, age 58 of Grays, passed away on August 27, 2019 at Hampton Regional Hospital, Varnville, SC.

Timothy was born in Hampton, SC on February 1, 1961 to Eloise Altman Zissett and the late Gary Monroe Mixson Sr.

Timothy was a carpenter; furniture maker and knife maker and loved the outdoors.  He was a faithful member at the Pine Level Baptist Church.  Most of all, Timothy loved his family.

Timothy is survived by his mother, Eloise Altman Zissett of Grays, SC; his wife, Rosalind Kleckley Mixson of Grays, SC; his daughters, Angie Crosby (Daniel) and Haley Bennett (David) all of Hampton, SC; step daughters,  Tiffannee Hardin (Joey) of Charleston, SC and Kea Dennen (Jeremiah) of Ridgeland, SC; his brother, Gary M. Mixson Jr. (Mary Ann) of Grays, SC; his sister, Vickie Dale Nash (Eric) of Moncks Corner, SC and twelve loving grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Wessinger.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Pine Level Baptist Church until the hour of the service at 3:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Hampton, SC.
