Timothy John Schwartz

March 25, 1967 — June 30, 2017

Timothy John Schwartz passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, family, and friends on June 30th of 2017 in Ridgeland, South Carolina after a long battle with Colon Cancer. Timothy was born May 25th of 1967 at St. Mary’s hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He grew up in Raymond, Wisconsin where he was an adventurous child who did everything to excess. His father fondly referred to him as Timothy-Too-Much, a nickname that stayed with him throughout his life. After graduating from St. Catherine’s High School in Racine in 1985 he attended MATC but wanted to see the world. So he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and proudly served from 1987-1994 where he especially enjoyed being stationed in Japan. During his time in the military he returned to college and graduated with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina in 1990. Following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corp he started a series of small businesses in Beaufort, SC. Tim then established and successfully ran Nationwide Development Inc. for 25 years before retiring to Ridgeland, SC. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and children, playing cards, and spoiling his dogs. Tim is survived by his wife, Jennifer H. Schwartz of Ridgeland; his parents, Jerald and Delphine Schwartz of Oakcreek, WI; his sons, Michael Schwartz, Michael Chahin and Adam Chahin all of Beaufort; his daughter, Sarah Chahin of Beaufort; his brother, Jeffry Schwartz (Michelle) of Milwaukee, WI; and former spouse and mother of Michael Schwartz, Judy Schwartz of Beaufort. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
